She wasn’t asked to go to the border. She was asked to meet with leaders of the nations that most immigrants come from and look at reasons why they are coming. She didn’t lie, she said “ we’ve been to the border” meaning members of the administration. The numerous members of Congress who “ go to the border” do so as a photo op. What does it accomplish ?
