It would be easy to slam Jon Stupid Stewart over his lunacy. But, I’ll narrow it down to one thing. In his reference to the gun sounds in war movies, Hollywood always makes the sounds of weapons going off seem worse than they really are. I remember on Gunsmoke the guns were really loud but fire a .45 revolver in real life and the gun isn’t as loud as Hollywood makes you think. Even though I do recommend wearing ear protection when firing most guns. And as for criminals getting their guns outside of dummycrat gun free cities, Jon is only half right. The guns criminals get are stolen guns and some of those guns they have the law-abiding citizen can’t buy unless they pass a very rigorous background check and pay a very steep price for the permit. If a criminal knows the right people, they can buy an M16, a Thompson, an Uzi, an AK47, even an M60 machinegun or a BAR. Can even buy hand grenades and anti-tank weapons if the criminal has the right connections and money. The point is law abiding citizens don’t commit crimes with their weapons. Only criminals commit crime and will use any weapon at their disposal.
